Dunkin” Donuts Coming to Tarleton<\/p>\n

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—For Tarleton State University students needing coffee and donuts to jump-start the day, help is coming.<\/p>\n

Dunkin’ Donuts moves into the “C” Store below the dining hall on the Stephenville campus about Nov. 1. Expect a full menu of breakfast sandwiches, too.<\/p>\n

The convenience store is relocating to Texan Village, near the water tower on the north side of campus, where it will open after Dunkin’ Donuts’ ribbon cutting.<\/p>\n

“Students want something new and exciting,” said Kimberly Miller, general manager of Tarleton’s food service provider, Sodexo. “A survey proved Dunkin’ Donuts to be a top choice.”<\/p>\n

A year in the making, remodeling to accommodate the Dunkin’ Donuts is expected to begin in mid-August and cost $1.5 million.<\/p>\n

In addition to credit and debit cards and cash, students on meal plans can use Dining Dollars for purchases.<\/p>\n

Dunkin’ Donuts joins Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A as nationally branded food choices on campus, with two more outlets on the horizon.<\/p>\n

“We hope to have a Baskin-Robbins at some point in the future,” Miller said. “We’re talking to McAlister’s Deli about a spot in Texan Village and looking for the best spot to locate a semi-permanent food truck.”<\/p>\n
