STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Enjoy free admission to Tarleton’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas on Saturday, Sept. 23, as part of Smithsonian<\/em> magazine’s 13th annual Museum Day Live!<\/p>\n

Museum Day Live! celebrates the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington D.C.-based facilities, which offer free admission every day. Download a Museum Day Live! ticket at www.smithsonianmag.com\/museumday<\/a> for two free passes to visit the W.K. Gordon Center.<\/p>\n

Only one download per household permitted.<\/p>\n

The W.K. Gordon Center, a Tarleton museum and research facility located in the historic ghost town of Thurber, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
