Wells Fine Arts Center Gallery, allow student artists the opportunity to mount a professional exhibition that presents a cohesive portfolio in the field of study the student intends to pursue upon graduation.

“The art department is proud of its seniors and the diversity of the types of research our students are doing this year,” said senior advisor and art professor Chris Ireland. “I think you will see in each senior a signature style and creative approach to their craft. They are self-motivated and engaged in their fields at a professional level.”

A solo exhibition of the work of Teejay Handley kicks off the exhibitions Nov. 1-6. His design work for stock racing cars is inspired from a life-long passion for racing and gaming.

The second exhibition, Nov. 8-13 features the works of Noelle Ross and Matt Vanderpool.

Matt’s photographic efforts display a unique view of the American roadside service station, while Noelle’s character design work is based off her own creations and fantasy stories.

Two digital media majors, Nacona Ferrell and Macklin McAllister, are highlighted from Nov. 14-17. Both will premier new video games that will be available in playable form in the gallery.

Cory Cervantes and Kaitlin Hooper’s photographic skills will be displayed during the fourth exhibit from Nov. 20-28.
