STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas presents “What to do with Grandma’s Doilies,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25.<\/p>\n
Suzann Thompson and Sandi Horton will make a presentation about the Celebrate Doilies! <\/em>exhibit—running through March 5—with poetry reading by Horton along with tips for preserving family heirlooms.<\/p>\n The program is made possible in part with a grant from Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Admission to the Sunday Afternoon Program is free, and no reservations are required.<\/p>\n The museum, in historic Thurber, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. It is located at Exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene.
