STEPHENVILLE, Texas—The College of Education at Tarleton State University is accepting nominations for the 2018 Crystal Apple Society.<\/p>\n
Created in 2012, the society recognizes educators who exemplify excellence and honors those who have made significant contributions to the education profession. Teachers, professors, coaches, librarians, administrations and counselors are eligible to receive the award.<\/p>\n
To sponsor an educator, make a minimum donation of $500 and complete a nomination form at www.tarleton.edu\/coe\/crystal-apple.html<\/a> by Saturday, March 31.<\/p>\n Donations support scholarships for students enrolled in the College of Education and underwrite an awards dinner for inductees, those who nominate them and two guests.<\/p>\n The awards dinner takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the Thompson Student Center ballrooms.<\/p>\n Tarleton, founding member of The Texas A&M University System, provides a student-focused, value-driven educational experience, marked by academic innovation and a dedication to transform today’s scholars into tomorrow’s leaders.
