{"id":28519,"date":"2018-04-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-13T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.tarleton.edu\/news\/tarleton-adds-accelerated-1-year-mba-to-college-of-business-administration\/"},"modified":"2023-06-23T14:01:14","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T19:01:14","slug":"tarleton-adds-accelerated-1-year-mba-to-college-of-business-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/news\/tarleton-adds-accelerated-1-year-mba-to-college-of-business-administration\/","title":{"rendered":"Tarleton adds accelerated 1-year MBA to College of Business Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<br \/>\nFriday, April 13, 20188<\/p>\n<p>STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University has added an accelerated MBA to its College of Business Administration, giving graduate students an opportunity to complete the degree program in 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>The fully online choice is in addition to Tarleton\u2019s traditional two-year MBA degree program.<\/p>\n<p>Both degree options are designed for hardworking individuals who want a broad business-based academic experience that will prepare them for workplace advancement and provide the skills and tools needed for career changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe worked diligently to ensure this new accelerated format has the same quality components and experiences as our traditional MBA program, but in a condensed format,\u201d said Dr. Nate Heller, director of graduate studies for the business college.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube Video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B_m7tFSmhJU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The first two semesters of the fast-tracked MBA consist of eight- and 16-week courses followed by an accelerated four-week class.
