STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University vocal music students present “Mostly Mozart,” selected scenes from the composer’s most famous operatic works, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Theater on the Stephenville campus.<\/p>\n
Mozart is credited with composing 22 musical dramas in a variety of genres, including “The Obligation of the First and Foremost Commandment,” written when he was just 11 years old, “The Marriage of Figaro” and his final opera, “The Magic Flute.”<\/p>\n
Student performances will be accompanied by Iwao Asakura, associate professor of vocal music.<\/p>\n
Admission is free.<\/p>\n
