Donate Food to Pay for Parking Fines<\/p>\n

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — It’s a win-win.<\/p>\n

Donate food to pay campus parking fines.<\/p>\n

During November, the Tarleton State University Police Department is accepting parking citation payments for half price with a food gift to the Tarleton and Stephenville communities.<\/p>\n

Drop off non-perishable food items and a purchase receipt to the Police Department at Frey and Harbin streets and receive a 50 percent break on outstanding citation balances. For example, $10 worth of food pays off a $20 balance.<\/p>\n

Donations will be distributed to the Tarleton Food Pantry and the Huston Academy Food Pantry. The program applies to Tarleton citations issued prior to Oct. 31, 2018.<\/p>\n

Suggested Items:
<\/strong>• Chicken or tuna cans or pouches
• Breakfast items (breakfast bars, pop tarts)
• Ready meals (Chef Boyardee, Dinty Moore)
• Fruit cups\/ canned fruit
• Canned vegetables
• Granola bars
• Peanut butter
• Macaroni
• Tomato sauce
• Single-serve crackers (Goldfish, Ritz)<\/p>\n
