STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University will close all facilities for winter break beginning at noon Friday, Dec. 21. Campuses and other operations will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.<\/p>\n
Campus dining services closed Dec. 13 and will reopen for brunch at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. All other dining locations, including the Barry B. Thompson Student Center’s Texan Star Food Court and Study Grounds Café in the Dick Smith Library, resume normal operating hours Monday, Jan. 14.<\/p>\n
The Barry B. Thompson Student Center, including the Tarleton Food Pantry and the Tarleton Campus Bookstore inside, will close for the holiday break at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, and close Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 5 and 6.<\/p>\n
The Dick Smith Library is closed from 5 p.m. Dec. 21 through Jan. 1. The library will resume interim hours Jan. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Normal semester hours will resume at 7 a.m. Jan. 14.<\/p>\n
The Texan Hall Library on the Fort Worth campus will be closed from noon Friday, Dec. 21, until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily until Jan. 14 when regular hours resume.<\/p>\n
Tarleton’s Recreational Sports Center and Campus Recreation Department will close at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, and reopen at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, operating on a modified schedule until Jan. 12, when normal hours resume. Holiday operating hours Jan. 2-13 are 1-5 p.m. Sunday, 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n
