STEPHENVILLE, Texas —An evening of jazz favorites performed by the Tarleton State University Jazz II Ensemble and special guest, the Eastland High School Jazz Band, is set for 7:30 p.m., Saturday March 2, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.<\/p>\n
The concert is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
The Jazz II Ensemble’s set list includes pieces by Sammy Nestico, Stan Kenton, Chick Corea and Gordon Goodwin.<\/p>\n
Stephen Cox will direct the Eastland High School Jazz band as it performs many of its favorite selections.<\/p>\n
