STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Students in grades 3 through 5 are invited to explore in the world of circuits and robots at Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas in Thurber. “Science at the Center” takes place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11.<\/span><\/p>\n Participants will learn how circuits work and put that knowledge to use making their own Bristlebot to take home.<\/span><\/p>\n The event is free; however, reservations are required to ensure enough materials for everyone to complete their own project. <\/span><\/p>\n To register, go to http:\/\/tarletonstate.us\/GCscience<\/a>, call 254-968-1886 or email GordonCenter@tarleton.edu.<\/p>\n Parents are welcome to stay for the program but aren’t required to do so.<\/p>\n The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
