Gordon Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<br \/>Thursday, May 2, 2019<\/p>\n<p>STEPHENVILLE, Texas &mdash; <span>Students in grades 3 through 5 are invited to explore in the world of circuits and robots at Tarleton State University&rsquo;s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas in Thurber. &ldquo;Science at the Center&rdquo; takes place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Participants will learn how circuits work and put that knowledge to use making their own&nbsp;Bristlebot to take home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The event is free; however, reservations are required to ensure enough materials for everyone to complete their own project. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>To register, go to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/tarletonstate.us\/GCscience\">http:\/\/tarletonstate.us\/GCscience<\/a>, call&nbsp;254-968-1886 or email GordonCenter@tarleton.edu.<\/p>\n<p>Parents are welcome to stay for the program but aren&#8217;t required to do so.<\/p>\n<p>The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
