STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton’s Program for Astronomy Education and Research holds its annual fall Star Party from 6-11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at the Hunewell Ranch observatory.<\/p>\n
Visitors will have the opportunity to gaze at stars and deep space objects, as well as several planets, through Tarleton’s 32-inch reflecting research telescope and several smaller telescopes. Tours inside the observatory will be offered by Tarleton faculty and astronomy students. The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Star gazers arriving at the gate of Hunewell Ranch will be greeted and directed to the parking area. Guests will be asked to turn off their headlights to preserve ideal viewing conditions.<\/p>\n
