STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Dr. Jesus Velasco, the Joe and Teresa Long Endowed Chair at Tarleton State University, joins two University of Houston colleagues on Monday, Nov.18, for a lecture on Latino voting and representation.<\/p>\n
The lecture takes place from 3 to 4 p.m. in Room 105 of the Lamar Johanson Science Building on the Stephenville campus. Admission is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Joining Velasco are Drs. Jeronimo Cortina and Jason Casellas, both political science professors at UH. They will cover such topics as the importance of the Latino vote and its potential impact on the 2020 presidential election.<\/p>\n
