Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.<\/p>\n<p>Performances begin at 7:30 nightly. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors, children and Tarleton faculty and staff; and $5 for students.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Next to Normal&rdquo; is a Pulitzer Prize winning rock musical written by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt that centers on a mother, Diana, played by community member Katie Rodgers, struggling with worsening bipolar disorder and the effects the disorder have on her family.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the cast includes Cameron Bishop as Diana&rsquo;s son, Gabe; Caleb Badgley as Dan, Diana&rsquo;s husband; Rebecca Franko as Natalie, the couple&rsquo;s daughter; Jenna Townsend as Henry, a classmate of Natalie; and Kody Lewis as Diana&rsquo;s psychiatrist, Dr. Madden. Cheyenne Nash and Tyler Krumm are understudies.<\/p>\n<p>Stage manager is April Harlan and assistant stage manager is Shiann Reese. Associate professor of theater Carol Stavish is set designer and Jessica Privett is lighting designer.<\/p>\n<p>The crew also features Marcos Garcia, sound design; Rylie Fischer, costume design; and&nbsp;&nbsp;Mary Claunch, make-up and hair design.<\/p>\n<p>The Tarleton production is directed by assistant department head and associate theater professor Prudence Jones.<\/p>\n<p>The production is suggested for mature audiences.<\/p>\n<p>Tarleton, founding member of The Texas A&amp;M University System, provides a student-focused, value-driven education marked by academic innovation and a dedication to transform today&rsquo;s scholars into tomorrow&rsquo;s leaders.
