CASE District IV Accolades<\/p>\n

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s marketing and communications team brought home seven awards, one a gold (the highest level of achievement), from this year’s CASE District IV competition.<\/p>\n

Accolades Awards were presented Monday night at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s Southwest<\/a> conference. Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana and Arkansas make up the district.<\/p>\n

Tarleton’s 2019 viewbook for prospective students won a gold Accolades for design. Created by Graphic Designer Rosemary Gutiérrez, the publication mirrors the university’s Texans Know How<\/em> brand campaign launched last summer. Marketing Publications Coordinator Logan Allen authored the viewbook, and Senior Communications Specialist Kurt Mogonye provided the photos.<\/p>\n

Gutiérrez also brought home a silver for her design of a feature story in the fall 2019 Tarleton<\/a><\/em>, the school magazine, and Allen’s design of a guide for transfer students garnered an honorable mention.<\/p>\n

Director of Marketing Natasha Hill won two silver Accolades — one for an awareness campaign to promote the 2019 opening of Tarleton’s first building in Fort Worth along Chisholm Trail Parkway and one for an out-of-home (outdoor) campaign to promote the new location.<\/p>\n

An animated video<\/a> to thank Giving Day donors and a long piece on Duck Camp<\/a>, the three-day, two-night experience for incoming freshmen, received silver Accolades. Joey McReynolds, manager of multimedia production, filmed and edited both videos.<\/p>\n

The marketing and communications team is part of Tarleton’s Division of Institutional Advancement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Tarleton is extremely fortunate to have a talented team of marketing and communications professionals to tell the university’s story and record its history,” said Dr. Kyle McGregor, who heads the division. “I am not surprised by the number of CASE Accolades Awards they brought home because I know their consistent commitment to excellence.”<\/p>\n
