STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s undergraduate degree in social work has emerged as one of the top 15 programs in Texas based on net monthly earnings one year after graduation.<\/p>\n
The program ranks No. 7 according to Social Work Degree, a product of Optimal. Rankings use data from the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard<\/a> to evaluate schools based on graduates’ median monthly debt payment and median monthly earnings. Selected programs must be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.<\/p>\n “We are proud of the hard work of our students and our faculty, who are very deserving of this honor,” said Dr. Melody Loya, Department Head. “A degree in social work leads to a myriad of career opportunities.”<\/p>\n Tarleton’s undergraduate social work degree is available at its main campus is Stephenville as well as locations in Fort Worth and Waco.
