STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Families of Tarleton State University students are invited to a series of Family Nights — Oct. 3 and Oct. 24 — featuring events on campus and in the Stephenville community.<\/p>\n
Attendance at each Tarleton Family Night is limited to 600, including family members and students. Registration is required, and each session will be filled on a first-come-first served basis.<\/p>\n
Attendees may design their own weekend adventure, choosing from concerts featuring Taylor Branch and the Lone Star Ramblers, a Texans’ exhibition volleyball game, kids’ train rides, bingo, create-a-critter kits, and movies at the university planetarium and on the lawn at the O.A. Grant amphitheater.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Rally on Rudder will feature student spirit groups and a special welcome from Tarleton President James Hurley.<\/p>\n
Most events take place at outdoor venues across campus. All events, set from 1 to 10:30 p.m. each Saturday, are free.<\/p>\n
