STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Two days jam-packed with activities, including two ring ceremonies, a carnival and sports action, highlight this year’s annual Family Weekend at Tarleton State University, March 5-6.<\/p>\n
The first ring ceremony, presented by the Tarleton Alumni Association, begins the activities at 11 a.m. Friday. The day culminates in the 7 p.m. Western Athletic Conference women’s basketball game between Tarleton and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.<\/p>\n
The weekend builds toward Saturday’s tailgate on the Memorial Stadium parking lot followed by the 2 p.m. football clash between the Texans and Mississippi College.<\/p>\n
Also on Saturday’s agenda are Breakfast with the President, a craft fair, music, movie screening, a second women’s basketball matchup between the Texans and UTRGV and to cap the evening mentalist\/magician Nash Fung.<\/p>\n
Current CDC and Texas A&M University System COVID-19 guidelines will be observed at all activities.<\/p>\n
