For this need the food industry is one of the leading employers within the agriculture sector. These goals are the main focus of our educational efforts within the Meat Science Program and the Meat Laboratory at Tarleton State University. Through courses and extracurricular activities our students have the opportunity to network. Students that place an emphasis in meat science during their pursuit of an animal science degree at Tarleton can expect a diverse job market to select from upon completion of their undergraduate\/graduate degree.
