Hashtags are a great tool on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to categorize conversations. When a hashtag is used, it links to all other posts that have used the same hashtag.

If you're discussing Tarleton State University on social media, we want to see it!

Developing a Hashtag

Hashtags for departmental events are encouraged! When developing a hashtag, keep it short because the hashtag is included in Twitter's 140-character count. To eliminate confusion with other universities, we encourage you to stay away from the abbreviation "TSU."
