Campus Success

With its main campus in Stephenville, an hour southwest of Ft. Worth, Tarleton State University offers the value of a Texas A&M University System degree with its own brand of personal attention, individual opportunities, history, tradition and community. The campus and local community shows its support by wearing purple each Thursday. Tarleton is a vibrant learning community that continues to grow and recently added its seventh college, a new engineering building and broke ground on the first building on the new Fort Worth campus. The new campus is expected to house over 5,000 students and classes will begin in the fall of 2019.

Tarleton Athletics is currently undergoing a $24 million stadium renovation, expected to be completed in Spring of 2019. The updated stadium will boost capacity to around 9,000 seats and include an updated hospitality area, press box and field house.

Tarleton has extended the reach of state-supported, affordable education by expanding online undergraduate and graduate programs and classes in Waco, Midlothian, and Fort Worth. The university broke ground on the inaugural building of the Tarleton State University- Fort Worth campus, with an expected completion date of Fall 2019.
