  • If you would like to return an item, please email with your mailing address for a postage return label.

Remote Delivery of Resources

  • Document delivery services will also be available for all users through the interlibrary loan request service. Materials will be provided electronically through your interlibrary loan accounts.
  • Students and faculty needing materials not owned by Tarleton Libraries can request items through the interlibrary loan service and have materials delivered to their homes via first class mail and providing postage paid return lables.

Additional Information for Faculty

Reserves - We strongly encourage faculty to place high use materials for courses on e-reserve to allow your students access to these materials electronically. If the material is a book, we can purchase an electronic copy for students to access the content online. Articles can be scanned and posted as pdf documents. Copyright restrictions do apply.

Copyright – While there are a lot of pedagogical and technical issues that make the shift from in-person to online teaching challenging, copyright is not a big additional area of worry! Most of the legal issues are the same in both contexts. Here is some additional information.

Library Instruction - Instruction and reference librarians will be available through ZOOM to provide library instruction sessions and one-on-one reference consultations or as embedded librarians in Canvas courses. Contact or call the Dick Smith Library at (254) 968-9249 or the Rickett Library at (817) 717-3315 to arrange for a library instruction session or reference consultation online.

Additional resources - Curated list of extended or free access e-resources.

Library services - Dick Smith and Rickett Library Services during the covid-19 emergency.
