Only you (the student) can make the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Move out completely<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove all belongings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn in your keys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign the Room Condition Sheet (RCS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What You\u2019ll Be Charged:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll pay <strong>80% of the cost<\/strong> for each semester left on your contract.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charges will show up in your <strong>Texan Bill Pay<\/strong> account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say your room costs <strong>$3,000 per semester<\/strong>, and you want to cancel after the fall semester:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You still owe for <strong>spring semester<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>80% of $3,000 = <strong>$2,400<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>So, you\u2019ll be charged <strong>$2,400<\/strong> for the spring semester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>80% Buyout Process Want to Cancel Your Housing Contract?
