Tarleton State University's Official Form of Communication
Effective Monday, March 16, 2009, the University assigned account is the University's official means of email communication with students, faculty, and staff at Tarleton State University. It is hoped the use of a common email address will simplify communications with the Tarleton community. Individuals are responsible for all information sent to them via their University assigned email account. Please refer to Standard Administrative Procedure 24.99.99.T1.05 for additional guidelines regarding the use of Tarleton email.
Students - new services are as follows:
Tarleton State University has partnered with Microsoft to bring students a new email solution from Microsoft Live@edu, a leading edge email service and a full suite of applications designed to enhance communication and collaboration. The email system currently offered to students within the Gateway portal will eventually be replaced by the web based Microsoft Live@edu email service. Additionally, as a student you will be able to keep your email account after you graduate. You must activate your new account by Monday, March 16, 2009.
