What you need to apply as an undergraduate

  • ApplyTexas application
  • $50 application fee (Waived until August 31st, 2020)
  • Official college transcripts from every regionally accredited institution you have attended
  • Any other items requested by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions based on application answers

ApplyTexas applicant type: U.S. Transfer

Undergraduate admission to Tarleton Fort Worth, Midlothian, Waco, RELLIS-Bryan, and Global Online requires a minimum of 30 transferable hours, a 2.0 GPA, and TSI complete status. These transfer locations only offer upper-division courses. If your degree requires additional lower-level courses, some may be available online, but you may also need to complete courses at another institution and transfer them to Tarleton. Financial Aid Consortiums with Tarleton’s community college partners are available to assist with the cost of dual enrollment.

About Online Degree Programs

As a member of the Texas A&M University System, Tarleton State University helps working adults like you complete an online degree from an affordable and accredited university in Texas. Many of our students work full-time or part-time while completing their degrees online for career advancement opportunities.

The online degree programs at Tarleton State University allow you the opportunity to earn a degree while maintaining professional and personal obligations. If you have the desire, organizational skills, time management skills, and self-discipline, you will find our online bachelor's degree completion programs and master's degree programs an excellent route to earn a degree.

As an online student, you will complete the same degree requirements as face-to-face students. You also have the option to complete a blended program by supplementing online classes with day, evening, or weekend face-to-face classes in Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian, or Stephenville.

Online Campus Requirement

Students may choose Global Campus Online for online courses. However, if a student resides in one of the counties below, the student will be assigned to the corresponding campus location.

  • Stephenville: Erath, Comanche, Eastland, Hood, Palo Pinto, Hamilton, Somervell
  • Fort Worth: Tarrant, Parker, Johnson
  • Waco: McLennan, Hill
