BECOME A TARLETON DIPLOMAT<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tarleton State University \u2013 Fort Worth Diplomats will promote and model the Tarleton institutional core values of excellence, integrity, and respect in all interactions with others. Diplomats are students that will attend and assist with college fairs, marketing activities, and recruiting events, assist Tarleton Fort Worth staff with campus-related activities, participate in leadership training, and assist with outreach programs. Activities conducted will generate the opportunity to meet the requirements outlined in the criteria for completing a Leadership Applied Learning Experience and provide leadership skills vital to subsequent career success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selection of Diplomats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Diplomats are selected through a process that includes an application, an interview, and approval from the Tarleton Fort Worth Outreach Advisory Committee. Upon selection, the Diplomats will complete leadership training that meets the requirements outlined in the criteria for the qualification of the program as a Leadership Applied Learning Experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Length of Term<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At least one year, but the experience can be extended to the entire length of matriculation at the University<\/p>\n\n\n\n
