Food Donations

Donations from the public help us to provide the most balanced diet possible for the Tarleton community.

Accepted items include:

  • Tuna or chicken pouches
  • Peanut or almond butter
  • Single-serve fruits & vegetables
  • Dried fruit/raisins
  • Applesauce
  • Fruit strips
  • Popcorn
  • Nuts or crackers
  • Granola, protein, cereal bars
  • Microwavable pasta or rice
  • Oatmeal or dry cereal
  • Pudding cups
  • Packaged muffins
  • Microwavable soups and/or chili
  • Snack packs (Goldfish, graham crackers, etc.)

Keep in mind that donated food items should be residence hall friendly. At this time the Tarleton Food Pantry is not able to accept perishable or refrigerated items.

Monetary Donations

All monetary donations benefit the food pantry. You can donate in person with cash or a check, or you can choose to make an online donation. Donate today!


The Tarleton Food Pantry is constantly searching for great volunteers to assist in accepting donations, taking inventory, and helping clients whenever required. Scheduling typically consists of 1-hour blocks on Mondays from 1-4 P.M. and Thursdays from 9 A.M.-12 P.M. A short training session is required prior to volunteering.
