Supporting Fine Arts at Tarleton

ULTRA Club is not your ordinary club! We have no clubhouse, no president, no officers and no meetings. Through membership dues, gifts, and fundraising activities, we provide support to the students in the Department of Fine Arts at Tarleton State University. Our presence at events in Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center shows that the arts are alive and well in our corner of Texas.

The purpose of ULTRA Club, founded in 1985, is to provide community, regional, and state support for students in Tarleton's Department of Fine Arts. Membership dues provide:

  • Scholarships,
  • Travel expenses to conferences and competitions,
  • Supplemental experiences for students, as well as
  • Workshops and concerts by visiting artists, composers and playwrights.

These working professionals join Tarleton faculty in providing students with new ideas and skills, quality learning experiences that would not be possible without the support of our members. We help to bridge the gap between what the university can do to educate students and the edge they need to compete in today's world.

Play a part in the striking transformation of students into musicians, artists, actors, and film directors. Say to a Tarleton student, "You can do it, and I will help you." Join ULTRA Club today!

For a membership application, just stop by the front office of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center or call Angela Bailey at 254-968-9291.
