If you enroll for less than 12 semester credit hours for any long semester, your awards may be reduced or canceled. In addition as an undergraduate if you do plan to enroll part-time, you must submit an Enrollment Change Form to the Financial Aid Office so that your cost of attendance and awards can be adjusted in time for disbursement to prevent over-award.

Satisfactory Academic Progress Standard

Federal and state regulations require all students to make satisfactory academic progress (SAP) toward completion of degree, certificate or licensure requirements to receive student financial aid. All terms of attempted enrollment are considered in determining the satisfactory academic progress regardless of whether aid was awarded for the term. Failure to meet SAP results in ineligibility for all types of federal, state and university aid administered by the Student Financial Aid Office at Tarleton State University.
