The Faculty Senate is the principal liaison between the faculty and the Academic Council and\/or the university president. The Faculty Senate will act for and on behalf of the faculty and will express the faculty\u2019s consensus position on all matters brought before it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty Senate at Tarleton State University affirms its commitment to the free expression of ideas in the classroom, despite the presence of firearms.
