Office of External Relations

External Relations, part of the Division of Institutional Advancement, takes a leadership role in the university's efforts to engage community members and Tarleton alumni in the life of Tarleton State University, including providing cultural and civic programming at centers in Granbury and Thurber.

The Office of Advancement Services provides support and record-keeping to advance the relationships with those who become involved with the university and/or make gifts to the university.

Alumni Engagement

The Office of Alumni Engagement works closely with the Tarleton Alumni Association in maintaining the connection between the university's graduates and the university. The Office is located in the Alumni House on McIlhaney St.

Community Relations

The Office of Community Relations links Tarleton to local, state and national associations as well as business, civic and community groups. The Office also supports the events held at the on-campus residence of the President, the Trogdon House.

The Dora Lee Langdon Cultural and Educational Center

The Langdon Center provides cultural and educational programming to encourage life-long learning at a building maintained by the City of Granbury.

The W. K. Gordon Center for the Industrial History of Texas

The Gordon Center collects materials pertaining to the economic, political and Social history of Thurber and other centers of industrial development as valuable resources for education and research.
