The Joe R. and Dr. Teresa Lozano Long Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and International Programs offers a variety of diversity-related topic sessions as well as Ally training for current Tarleton State University classes and organizations and other groups of students, faculty, and staff. We cover a range of topics and can adjust to your needs.

If you would like us to provide sessions for your classroom, organization, or group, or want to request an Ally training, please complete the session request form.

Consultations

The Joe R. and Dr. Teresa Lozano Long Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and International Programs provide support for the Tarleton community in developing policies and programs that promote diversity and respect as global citizens. University departments, organizations, and colleges, and student organizations are encouraged to consult with us to develop inclusive programs and practices.

We can provide assistance with:

  • Strategic planning and program development that incorporates components and values of diversity 
  • Developing inclusive, gender-fair and disability aware curricula
  • Best practice in management and organizational change
  • Identifying diversity-related resources on and off the campus

Events

Community outreach is an important goal for Tarleton and for The Joe R. and Dr. Teresa Lozano Long Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and International Programs. In collaboration with other departments, engages the community inside and outside Tarleton through a variety of custom-designed programs and activities. The community is also invited to attend seminars, speakers, and public lectures.
