Bachelor of B.S. in Mathematics

Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree program gives students the option of Teacher Certification in addition to an accelerated Master’s program. The following are undergraduate concentration options in Mathematics that can be completed without Teacher Certification:

  • Pre-Actuarial
  • Pre-Law
  • Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental
  • Systems Analysis
  • Technical Writing

This degree program is designed for hardworking individuals who want to develop precise, detail-oriented problem solving skills and the ability to communicate about complex ideas as a member of a team. In particular, a B.S. in Mathematics provide a solid foundation for students pursuing a career in the medical or law practice fields, as mathematics majors have high acceptance rates to medical and law school.
