Comprehensive Exam

Students in this program are required to take a comprehensive exam in order to successfully complete their degree. The exam will cover the application of theory and concepts in business situations. The purpose of this exam is to evaluate the student's mastery in the functional areas of Human Resource Management.

Tarleton State University's M.S. in Human Resource Management program has had continuous alignment with, and acknowledged by the Society of Human Resource Management and the SHRM Human Resource Curriculum Guidebook and Templates since 2009. Only 421 programs at just 319 institutions worldwide have been acknowledged by SHRM as being in alignment with the suggested curriculum guidelines.
