Data science is the fastest changing field at the intersection of all three. Data scientists know how to find patterns in data that solve problems in business, medicine, science, finance, security, government and many other fields. Our interdisciplinary degree is available to students from diverse backgrounds. Many data science certificate programs teach only basic skills and mechanics for using software that will be out of date a few years later. We will teach you to understand how the mathematics and code really work, so you can create, think deeply and thrive in an ever-changing data science career. With a data science master’s from Tarleton, you will graduate with both the coding skills to expertly wield the data science tools of today and the mathematical foundation to master and lead their evolution tomorrow.
