The Bachelor of Science in Public Administration equips students with knowledge and skills that cover a wide range of topics and disciplines related to the public sector. Students acquire knowledge about government bodies and agencies, including municipal, state and federal operations in areas such as intergovernmental relations, human resource management, public policy and budgeting and finance.

The Bachelor’s in Public Administration at Tarleton State University - RELLIS will prepare students to pursue a graduate degree and/or provide graduates with a unique skill set applicable to all related fields.

Distinguished Faculty

Dr. G. M. Cox, the Director of the Public Administration program brings his more than 43 year public service career and the multitude of skills sets and experiences that he has to the Master of Public Administration Degree. He has worked at the federal, state and local levels of government or nonprofits and has designed and directs the PA program to meet the many demands of all sectors of public administration – public organizations, nonprofits and NGOs delivering public goods and services.

ROTC is the world’s premier leadership development program and is the largest commissioning source for the United States Army. ROTC Scholarship Programs enable qualified students to complete their degree plan of choice along with a Military Science curriculum and commission as a 2nd Lieutenant into the United States Army.
