This degree focuses on the design, planning, construction, and evaluation of the infrastructure around you, including everything from roads to buildings. The program prepares students for future employment and/or licensure as engineers, innovators, and decision-makers who can apply their knowledge in areas of Structural, Transportation, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering.

Program Objectives

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is a national organization that is dedicated to making a difference in the industry. Some of the issues that ASCE focuses on are:

The new Applied Sciences Building will house classrooms and labs for the engineering and engineering technology programs, in addition to select labs for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The building is projected to open in Fall 2018.
