Overview
This program offers multiple options including a B.A.S in Veterinary Technology, a Shelter Animal Medicine Certificate, and a Minor in Veterinary Technology. The B.A.S. is for those individuals who already have their associate degree in veterinary technology. It will enhance a technician's skill set while providing advanced knowledge in multiple areas, including diseases, nutrition, forensics, and practice management as well as many others. The degree which is offered online develops advanced critical thinking skills, requiring students to put their knowledge to use through case studies and simulated scenarios found in practice today.
This degree program is diverse, engaging, and opens up additional career opportunities that are typically not available to those who just hold an associate's degree. The curriculum is composed of a technology based delivery system that enables students to learn at their own pace.
