The goals of Alpha Phi Sigma are to honor and promote academic excellence, community service, educational leadership, and unity. Alpha Phi Sigma is the only Criminal Justice Honor Society, is a certified member of the Association of College Honor Societies, and is affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acjs.org\/\">Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acjs.org\/\">ACJS<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The student must be recommended, to National, by the chapter advisor.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alphaphisigma.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more about Alpha Phi Sigma.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements to Join<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To become a member, you must have completed one-third of your total hours require for graduation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/criminal-justice\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/191\/2022\/08\/alphaphisigma-application.pdf\">Complete your application now.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Undergraduate Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To join you must maintain a minimum of 3.2 GPA in criminal justice courses. You must also rank in the top 35% of your classes and have completed a minimum of four courses within the criminal justice curriculum. The Honor Society is open to those with a declared criminal justice major or minor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Graduate Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be require to maintain a minimum of a 3.4 GPA in both Criminal Justice courses and overall courses.
