As such, all of our curriculum and standards for the program are aligned with CACREP standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A note:<\/strong>&nbsp;Our M.S in School Mental Health Counseling and our Ph.D. In Counseling are aligned with CACREP accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"why-cacrep-matters-c1b944ef-ee58-4f04-997f-72a2c87cc619\">Why CACREP Matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the recognized training standard for counselors by the Institute of Medicine and the Veteran\u2019s Administration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It promotes a unified identity as professional counselors and counselor educators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its curricula content areas are the require educational training for counseling licensure in most states, making CACREP-accreditation a pathway to portability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-value-of-an-accredited-program-cd445318-7a04-495b-a584-09ce66fc51b1\">The Value of an Accredited Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Accredited Programs provide you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recognition that the program has been evaluated and meets or exceeds national standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>knowledge that the graduate has met prerequisites for credentialing and is ready for entry into professional practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understanding that the focus of the program will be on professional counseling, not psychology, education or other helping professions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
