60 Hour Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: CNSL 5399 Internship A & B

Our goal is to educate counselors and therapists and prepare you for professional responsibilities in agencies, institutions, and private practice.

To be considered for an internship (field placement), you must complete all course prerequisites and be in good academic standing. Internship sites must be within 75 miles of your home campus.

How to Apply

You will need to fill out all the Internship A & B Application form materials, and present a completed hard copy to the department's administrative assistant by the deadline date. Please be aware the deadline is firm and no exceptions will be made.

You may either drop off your completed packet in person or mail the paper copies via U.S. Mail to:

The complete packet must be postmarked by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date.

Internship Application Deadlines

  • Fall: July 1st by 5:00 p.m.
  • Spring: November 1st by 5:00 p.m.
  • Summer: April 1st by 5:00 p.m.

A new application is required for each semester of field placement.
