Tutors can answer questions, help you get started on problems, explain concepts, and provide guidance as you work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Virtual tutoring is not a private, one-on-one tutoring appointment.<\/strong> Tutors assist both virtual and in-person students throughout their scheduled shift, so you may need to wait briefly while the tutor assists another student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When do I need to submit my request?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests may be submitted at any time. To be considered for your preferred tutoring day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tuesday through Friday tutoring:<\/strong> Submit your request by <strong>5:00 p.m. on the previous business day.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday tutoring:<\/strong> Submit your request by <strong>2:00 p.m. on Friday.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests received after these deadlines will be considered for the next available tutoring day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I prepare for virtual tutoring?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining virtual tutoring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Know which topics or problems you need help with.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have your notes, textbook, or assignment ready.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Join from a device that allows you to participate and share your work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being prepared allows the tutor to spend more time helping you with the mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I request virtual tutoring?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To request virtual tutoring through the Math Achievement Center, complete the <strong>Virtual Tutoring Request Form<\/strong> below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-button aligncenter\"><a class=\"wp-block-advgb-button_link advgbbtn-dccc3a76-1e4f-41d9-a201-1b12f29b324a\" href=\"https:\/\/tarleton.kualihub.com\/app\/6aab088f9c8f6e0297a9f9e4\/run\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Submit a Virtual Tutoring Request<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Missed the request deadline?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tarleton.kualihub.com\/app\/6aab088f9c8f6e0297a9f9e4\/run\"><strong>Submit a Virtual Tutoring Request<\/strong><\/a>.
