Often times, the opportunities can exist back at the students home area or in a variety of locations across the state or nation.  Internships in most STEM disciplines are paid experiences where students work alongside the professionals within the company in a variety of projects.  These experiences strengthen the student&#8217;s resumes while providing real-world experiences to apply the classroom knowledge learned in our COSM classrooms and laboratories.
