Project Linus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Communication Studies held its Spring 2025 Service Learning Day event – Project Linus. Named for the famous blanket-toting Peanuts character, Project Linus is a non-profit providing blankets for needy children. \u00a0All blankets are handmade by volunteer “blanketeers” and distributed nationwide. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The Department of Communication Studies will host a Project Linus event with the Dallas chapter. \u00a0Each month, the Fort Worth chapter of Project Linus provides over 400 blankets for seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise needy children. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 15 student volunteers cut, tied, and packaged fleece blankets in the O.A. Grant Prem Lab on March 27 from 10 AM to 2 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
