Faculty within each of the six academic colleges will choose an award winner in each category to represent their respective academic areas. These winners will form the pool of nominees for the university-wide awards. A review committee of junior and senior faculty from across the institution, faculty senators, prior award winners and students will review the college-level nomination and submit recommendations for the university-wide awards to the Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs and Student Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Award Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Nominees for this\u202faward\u202fshould have displayed sustained\u202fand repeated illustrations of high levels of service\u202fimpact\u202fnot only within the Tarleton College of Business\u202fAdministration but\u202falso other\u202fareas which might include but\u202fare not limited to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Other Tarleton colleges;<\/li>
      • Other parts of the campus including\u202fathletic endeavors;<\/li>
      • Civic institutions;<\/li>
      • Public schools;<\/li>
      • Churches;<\/li>
      • Prisons;<\/li>
      • Student organizations;<\/li>
      • Committee service (both on campus\u202fand city\u202fand county); and<\/li>
      • Other similar endeavors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        When nominating, please include illustrations\u202fand examples of these efforts over\u202fan extended period. Evidence of such efforts may include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Demonstrating a record of exemplary support and service to students and the campus community.<\/li>
        • Volunteering time and\/or resources to work on improvement projects for the University community and beyond.<\/li>
        • Serving as an active member of an external organization that provides the Tarleton community with leadership and volunteering opportunities.<\/li>
        • Developing and maintaining relationships that extend the reputation and impact of the University.<\/li>
        • Serving as a role model, coach, friend, or advisor that people seek for help and professional development.<\/li>
        • Demonstrating a distinguished record of service both at the local and state, and\/or national, and\/or international level.<\/li>
        • Demonstrating a sincere commitment to the well-being of the University.<\/li>
        • Must be a full-time faculty member at Tarleton State University for at least five years (may include department heads).<\/li>
        • Faculty members who have received this\u202faward\u202fwithin the last five years are not eligible.<\/li><\/ul>\n
