COB Job Fair
Each spring the College of Business, in cooperation with Career Services, hosts our very own job fair. Open to all majors, our Career Services representative, stationed right here within the College of Business, works closely with recruiters from various companies.
These employers want to meet you and for you to put your best foot forward. To the end, they want you to:
- Please come to the job fair with a resume.
- Please dress business casual or business professional.
Students do not have to have a resume for entry, but again, it is highly recommended. Here are two excellent resources for students regarding resumes:
- The Book of Resumes by Career Services. It can also be downloaded as a PDF. Basic resume samples are found on pp. 11-14. Page 11 provides guidance as to which format to choose. Business-specific example resumes start on p.32.
- Students can use VMock. They have a total of 10 uploads for their stay at Tarleton. Links to two videos regarding resumes are found on this page as well.
We are not requiring business casual or professional, as some students may not have that attire. However, it is highly recommended. This year, we are proud to host:
