After more than eight years of outstanding service as the Department Head for the Department of Animal Science, Dr. Frank Owsley has accepted a new role as an Associate Dean in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, effective January 1, 2024. During his tenure as department head, Dr. Owsley has been instrumental in driving enrollment growth and student success within the Department of Animal Science.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is also pleased to announce that effective January 1,  Dr. Trinette Jones will be assuming the role of interim department head for the Department of Animal Science. During her ten years as a faculty member here, she has been involved in assisting with departmental administration in various ways. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
