Catalina Berry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a new graduate student at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources pursuing an M.S. in Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences. My hometown is Laredo, TX, where I graduated from Texas A&M International University with a B.S. in Biology in 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before coming to Tarleton, I was previously employed as a Range Ecology Technician, Lead Quail Research Technician, and Piping Plover Technician. Over the next few years, I will be conducting a project to monitor the effects of grassland restoration on wintering, migrating, and breeding birds at Palo Pinto Mountains State Park with Dr. Heather Mathewson. Afterwards, I plan to have a career in wildlife management. I am excited to be a part of the Tarleton family and to start my professional development journey.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alex Hoxie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a new graduate student in Agriculture and Natural Resources pursuing a master\u2019s degree in Wildlife and Natural Resources. I received my bachelor\u2019s from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Environmental Science in December of 2022, and afterward I worked as a field technician for Texas A&M researching rodents and birds at the East Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am doing my current research with Dr. Heather Mathewson studying house sparrows as part of a collaborative project with North Dakota State, Oklahoma State, University of Kentucky, and Lafayette College.
