Printing in General Access Labs and Instructional Computer Labs

Effective June 1, 2012, a university student printing policy will go into effect that will reduce excessive printing in campus computer labs. The decision to implement this policy was made very carefully in order to be an environmentally friendly institution and to live within budget constraints. This "pay-as-you-print" initiative is the best option for Tarleton.

The Pharos Print System holds your print job in the queue for 24 hours. If a printer fails, we can reprint your job at no cost to you. Please call 254-968-1934 to report problems or to get help. Pharos printers are set to print single-sided. You must select Print to both sides if you want to duplex-print to save money.

B/W single-sided=$0.05; B/W both sides=$0.08.
Color single-side=$0.15; Color both sides=$0.18

You must wait for the Pharos Pop-up before your job will print. This can take a few seconds but you must set the Cost Information Verification and click OK before any printing happens. You will see a pop-up like this.
