  • $20 supply fee per semester (billed in September and January

The After School Program offers a safe, educational environment in extension to the school day. The program operates inside Central Elementary and accepts children enrolled in pre-k – 4th grades. Activities and lessons coincide with the children's school curriculum. Students are offered homework help, supplementary reading, and educational games. This is also a lab environment, and college students interact with the children offering mentoring and tutoring service. A snack is offered daily. Students enrolled in SISD not attending Central Elementary are transported via district bus to Central. The After School Program operates on regular school calendar days from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. To read more about the guidelines set by the state of Texas, view Minimum Standards for after school programs.
